  • Byrds is a nice place to go to enjoy a game and a beer. The food is o.k... some things are really good while other items are average. The burgers are quite good, but the fish fry on Fridays is not worth the money. It is good, but the portions are very small. The chicken wing special on Thursday nights used to be truly awesome, but they changed the wings and now it pretty much sucks. Trivia night on Wednesday nights is fun and it can also get quite crowded during certain sporting events (Packer and UW games). The people who work there really make the place, though. The waitstaff is very friendly and some are quite easy on the eyes! Plus it being non-smoking makes is a GREAT place to hang out. They will also sponsor your sports team... they don't give a lot, but if you become a regular they will give your team some special deals.
