I haven't been here since I was a kid, but a few weekends ago my friend had her birthday here for Friday Night Live. It was really awesome and a great concept!
My boyfriend and I bought tickets in advance and that saved us from a hell of a line which was nice. We were greeted by an anti-Israel protest taking place RIGHT outside the museum. That wasn't so nice, but we got over it once we found the birthday girl!
Basically every floor is different and there's lots to do. You buy food and drink cards and go shop around to see what's available. All I drank was red wine (what else is new) I think it was a Merlot, and I got a sushi burrito, because how can you not? and my boyfriend got some kind of meat pie. Both good but nothing outstanding.
There was a floor with dancing and various different photography booths doing free photos. We did one with another couple where you grabbed props and take a photo with an indiana jones guy, only catch was before the picture we all had to squeeze into some Ford and learn all about it (nobody really cared LOL) promo priorities I guess.
Overall a really fun experience and I'd definitely go again. You can't go wrong it's like 10 or 15 bucks a person and best part? For all you old ladies trapped in a 24 year old's body like myself who just wanna Netflix and chill, it's over at like 11!! haha
