Disappointed is the perfect word to describe the buffet.
First, we needed directions to find it. There is 1 giant sign but then you take the escalator down stairs (Basement Buffet). When we got down there we were super impressed with the decor, you truly felt like you were in Egypt at a dig site. We used Myvegas rewards to do a 2 for 1 buffet on a Sunday Dinner so instead of paying $60, we paid $30 ($27.99 plus tax) and even at $15 a person we were less then impressed.
Good: This is the first buffet I have seen curry at a buffet and it was pretty good. Spaghetti and meatballs were delicious. So was the cold mussels and the ribs. The desserts were the most impressive. Good job pastry chef.
Bad: Our buffet was more expensive because it was a steak and crab buffet. The Crab was yellow! I eat tons of crab and I've never seen it yellow. I tried both steamed and chilled and both made me worry I'd get sick if I ate it. It also feel apart (disintegrated)...might be old. Also the shell on both hot and cold, bent and refused to break (snap). Anyway, the rest of the food (besides the good) was mediocre. The bread was HARD, my husband struggled to break it. Oh and the light in the ceiling above our table kept going out then turning back on which was very annoying. I had to start timing when to take photos
To know: You have to get your own drinks.
I definitely would not pay full price and it take a TON of convincing to go back for a 2 for 1.
