| - Aj's is great. There are some wonderful treats, meats and more. The produce is good, but a bit overpriced. I recommend the farmer's market for your best produce. The only thing I will say about that, is that Aj's sometimes has harder to find items (think broccolini or purple carrots).
The store is always clean, but usually is freezing cold inside. The service counters are really my biggest gripe, because they don't use a number system. I was waiting at the bakery counter, and when they yelled "next!", some lady acted like she was next, and I really had no recourse as snowbird after snowbird told the counter that they were next. I don't really want to go elbows out and tell off an old lady! The sushi counter, meat and seafood, and hot deli counters are pretty much the same. But with all of the areas, their wares are always amazing.
The normal grocery items are priced higher than average. They also don't have much stuff for the serfs of the world. It's all fancy schmancy.
The staff at checkout is always so nice. I enjoy a quick and personable cashier, and have never been disappointed in this area.
If you're looking for good quality products and something really great for dinner, look no further than AJ's Fine Foods. Just don't hurt anybody getting to the counter! I'm next!
