| - Ok. So I know I'm not the label covered, monied average clientele that frequents this type of establishment, and being a man going in for a massage and pedicure I was greeted with many a furrowed brow upon registering for my spa day.
None the less, I was brought back and given a wonderful massage followed by a very uncomfortable pedicure, likened to a cheese grater and chisel on souls that previously could walk on rocks without tenderness.
All said and done, an interesting experience, not too unpleasant. That is, until I was led back up to the reception desk to pay the bill.
The young lady that was their face of customer service, found it appropriate to literally throw the bill at me across the counter, then looking me in the eyes, shrug her shoulders, and purse her lips.
Whatever relaxation induced pleasantries I had received immediately ripped away by a condescending little twit, whom, had been a guy, would have immediately been short a few front teeth. I signed my bill, after all I had received services, and asked for the manager.
Explaining the situation, he simply offered me $10 off a future visit!
As if I would ever return!
No surprise reaction that an employee had been so rude, no sorry. Just a monotone offer the lessen the financial plunder of my next visit!
Appalled I left, and sent off a letter to corporate straight away.
A month later I got an automated printed response again offering the same discount off of future services!
Ridiculous and unprofessional. Perhaps if I showed up in the newest fashion, bleached, plastic surgery laden, and pockets bulging with cash, the treatment would have been better?
Regardless of my financial situation, I would not ever step back into this place unless I could do so for OSHA or the Fire Dept to close them down!
I would highly recommend a Dolce Abstinence!
May they putrify in their own arrogance!
A single star, because that is the minimum it seems to allow
