rev:text	Well here I go again with a 5 star review, but that has more to do with my personality, I tend to blow off bad experiences unless it's so bad I feel the need to warn others. I have been to 4 different salons in the last 18 months, since moving into this neighborhood. My experiences have ranged from the worst to the best. The Spot being the absolute best. Martine did an absolute overhaul, color, highlights and cut. My hair was damaged and brassy. I was so gun shy about trying, yet again, another place that I also had a lot of gray to cover. When I walked in someone brought Martine over, and it is the absolute, first time I have had a stylist tell me everything I wanted without me having to say anything. He knew the color and tone I needed to compliment my skin tone, and he could tell by my length that I didn't want a lot taken off, but enough to start to get it healthy again. It was Friday before memorial day and his assistant scheduled me for the next Tuesday. But when Martine came over to say goodbye I requested they call if he had a cancellation, and he actually looked at his schedule and fit me in that same day, just 1 hour later. He knew how badly I needed a fix. That has never happened anywhere before. As far as the atmosphere goes, it's very comfortable and relaxed as well as being very attractive. I have all the confidence in referring anyone to The Spot, the clientele when I was there was very mixed. I waited to write this until I had time to live with my new "do", and know that it really is as good as when I walked out of the salon.
