| - This place has fantastic beer and a wide selection. Their seasonals are usually phenomenal (I'm looking at you hopsquatch). They have some very hoppy choices as well as some nice dark and malty brews.
Their food is on par with most brew pubs... delicious. I usually go with the beer bread chicken sandwich or with a daily special. Every now and then they have an espresso bbq sauce that is amazing. Oh, get the sweet jalepeno sauce to dip your fries into.
Reason to take away 1 star? Their servers. Every now and then you will get a good server, but there are some bad ones. Please, if you are server at a brewery, know what the seasonal is, know what you have on cask, and don't argue with the customer. I've had to convince the server that they had hopsquatch before.
The time a server really pissed me off is when I went with a big group. The barley wine had just come out and a couple people ordered some glasses. Others were intrigued so I ordered them samples of it. Well, the server got confused and brought another full glass of one. I informed him right then and there that we just wanted a sample. His response was "oh, someone will drink it, don't worry about it". Well, it sat at the table, got sipped on till 1/2 was gone (this beer is served in small glass). When the check came, it had the price of the barley wine. I told him that we didnt order that, and didnt even drink it all. He got extremely defensive and said that if we didnt want to pay for it, then we should of let it sit at the table and not touch it... whaaaaaa? Are you serious?
Four Peaks is an excellent brewery, nice brewers, excellent beer, good food, but some of the servers suck.
