  • 808 Sushi is an awesome place and the food is great. The service definitely SUCKS big time. The guys at the bar and in the kitchen are AWESOME. The women are bitches and always seem to be PMSING! My family and I have been coming here for almost 2 years. None of them know our names. They are very rude and snappy. Our most recent visit on Tuesday 1/5/16 was the worst ever and has us looking for a new sushi place. The food was great as always and the guys in the kitchen/bar area are always very very nice. At the time we were there, there were two women working and one of them had just got there. She was telling the kitchen staff how sick she was as she hacked and coughed. Then she proceeded to interact with the customers coughing and sniffling ( just in case they didn't know they are violating health codes according to the health department where they got there health cards). When we went to pay and leave we noticed that the other woman was also sick, coughing and sniffling. My sister asked her if she was sick and the woman got really short and mean saying she had allergies. My sister responded saying well shouldn't you take some allergy medicine. All the woman said meanly is she had allergies. My sister once again said to her, this must be new because we have been coming here for quite awhile and never seen you having allergies. Then the woman messed up the checks and we tried to explain and correct it but, she wasn't having it either. They need some serious customer service training or they will lose more customers. Yeah the food is great but, if the service sucks like this they might as well shut there doors. The owner use to make his presence known but, not anymore so they act like there shit doesn't stink and like we should feel privileged to have them serving us. Well with all this said we will not be going back to 808 sushi!! They just lost 6 customers who spend between $50 to $100 each on there visit and usually would go 3 times a week. I am sure another sushi business will appreciate our business. I certainly don't think the owner ever reads these reviews but, I know people looking for great places with awesome service do. I totally recommend on passing on this place and find another!
