  • Relocating is hard for a woman right? New hair girl , new nail girl , new gym , new tanning salon , etc. I was browsing ( more so creeping ) on IG and came across Salon 42. I read the reviews , saw the IG photos and clearly was impressed. Honestly , coming from the West Coast , I thought it would be hard to find a comparable salon. I called Salon 42 to schedule at the Lake Norman location and the customer service I received way beyond a $500 West Coast balayage. The owner went OUT of her way to find a stylist who knew EXACTLY what I was looking for. Let me tell you I've seen owners at salons and your lucky to even get a smirk from them. I am shocked at how amazing every part of my appointment was. Not only was Salon 42 1.9 miles from my house but Marisa C. was one of the sweetest , friendliest and most willing to listen to the customer stylist I've ever dealt with. I've never had full confidence in a hair appointment and normally get that nervous feeling while in the chair but SHE went above and beyond to make sure my experience was fabulous. I am HIGHLY recommending Salon 42 to all locals and transplants. Ladies , THANK you so much for giving me such a great experience. Oh yeah - and the prices are extremely reasonable :)!
