Went on a Nite Tours on Sunday July 3rd. The tour was suppose to end at Lavo, but our host Mike couldn't get us into Lavo. The door guy said that he need an even ratio of guys to girls. Since the group was mostly guys, he dropped us guys off at the V-Bar for our final bar. We where the only ones there. Also it was small and if you wanted to sit down, you had to buy a $400 bottle of absolute. Total waste of 4 hours. We just went back to our hotels all mad, and went to bed early.
They also promised 2-for-1 drink specials at all the bars, but Mike our host didn't know anything about it, and the waitstaff at all the bars didn't know anything about it.
BEWARE: The disclaimer said the venue is subject to change. But I think they change if you're unlucky enough to end up on a day with lots of dudes in the group.
Nite Tours should work with the OPERATORS of the clubs (not the doormen and bouncers) to guarantee admission for guests. Talked to some locals and they said, best thing to do is to go bar hoping on your schedule, and buy a wrist band at vegas.com where they'll never turn anyone away because it's set-up with the operators and owners of the club. This Nite Tour thing is all reliant on the relationship of your Nite Tour host and the bouncer.
This whole thing put a sour taste in my mouth. Made me look bad in front of my friends because I was the one who encouraged everyone to buy this tour. I just feel really guilty I ruined a night of their Vegas vacation.
Next time I go to Vegas, I'm going to try this Vegas.com VIP wristband thing.
