rev:text	Absolutely terrible service. They recently had a "grand opening" and then Salon is now called the spot. I can only assume they change the name due to the terrible service the salon looks incredibly old for the grand opening that they are promoting. There was a huge sign out front promoting 15% off and when I went in to inquire on Services I was approached by "Tyrone" aka David. He advised me that pedicures were $28 but with the 15% off promotion they will be $25, when I kindly explain to him the $25 is not 15% off of 28 he became upset and stated that I'm asking him to do too much. How am I asking him to do too much for a promotion that they are holding? I should have gone with my intuition and left but I proceeded with services. While getting my pedicure I am formed Brenda that I am allergic to the callus remover solution that they use and that I would only be able to use a tool for callus remover rather than any solution. She continuously replied that no this is going to be better for you. How can something be better for me when I am clearly allergic I went to other salons and this is not worked out for me as I kept explaining this to her I finally just told her I'm not going to be able to get the pedicure. At this point Tyrone overhears and decides that he will continue my pedicure in the absence of the solution and he then uses the scrubber tool. The pedicure is great! After finishing up we head over to Tyrone station. He then asked me what my name is I tell him and ask him what his name is. He tells me that his name is Tyrone and laughs. I don't give this much thought and proceeded to make a call to get my car serviced while I'm on the call Tyrone pulls out to business cards and tells me to give his friend a call who is in the car service industry and he will give me a much better deal. I then call his friend Tyler while I'm on the phone with Tyler I indicated Tyro ne at the nail shop has just made a referral for his car services, at this point Tyrone aka David snatches the phone from my ear and says oh no this is David and proceeded to speak in Vietnamese. Now I'm completely annoyed not only do you snatch my phone from me but then I find that you are lying about your name. I approached him directly and ask him why would he say that his name was Tyrone he just gives a laugh. It was clearly to connect with me as his black customer but he missed the mark completely and honestly I was offended. The entire time we talked he kept saying things like "ok girl, it's okay homegirl" which too many nail solans do this to build rapport with your black customers and it is so disgusting. I then let him know that I want to have designs on two of my nails he perceives to have another nail tech come over to complete the services and she is really sweet I didn't get her name by the way. As she is doing the design Brenda and another nail tech come and stand to watch the services. I don't know about other customers but I find this very unprofessional especially considering the earlier interaction I had with Brenda. So to diffuse the awkwardness I asked Brenda if she knows how to do this same design she again gets an attitude and says yes I'm just watching because I want to see how she does it. So I decide to let her know that watching the other Nail Tech complete my services is implying that the nail tech completing my services is inexperienced or the nail techs that are watching are. You don't receive this kind of service at a great nail salon. Brenda of course gets an attitude and I tell her stop standing over me, she then starts screaming and Vietnamese to which I respond please speak in English and of course she doesn't. My experience was trash and I will never recommend this place. From the false advertising of the 15% off, Brenda's nasty attitude and David playing on my race to connect with me I'll find a better place to spend my dollars. I paid the Hefty $85 bill and left immediately.
