| - We went to Chompies for dinner, had the I/2 corned beef sandwich/soup, jewish sliders, and potato pancakes, all were good quality, deli-style food. Service was good, we asked about a particular menu item and what it was, the server did not know but came back from the kitchen with an explanation. The menu is quite large, so you will spend a good amount of time deciding what to order. I gave them 3 stars because of cost, be aware that Chompies is very expensive for a family dinner. Most sandwiches are in the $15-20 range, even simpler burgers are in the $15 range. This isn't somewhere you go to for a quick inexpensive lunch, so first time diners must be aware that Chompies is on the expensive end of restaurants, even the bakery is on the high end, everything looks delicious though.
