| - Oh man, this Kinko's location is a savior for us downtown Cleveland habitants. I can't even tell you how many times they've helped me in a jam. Kinko's should probably change their name to something superhero-esque.
Thoughts? ...yeah, I'm kind of at a loss too.
Let me tell you a little story of an almost-fail. So, I had to get a 32 page document sent to someone by the end of the day. It was my choice whether I wanted to fax it or scan the documents, then email them. Well, I chose faxing for some reason and ran to the nearest printing store. Turns out it was a competitor of Kinko's, but it was close and I was in a rush. What was meant to be a quick trip turned into an hour and a $65 fax that I wasn't even sure went through. These people had no idea what they were doing and I pretty sure I spent 15 minutes staring at a lady with a beard. Not kidding.
Monday rolls around and I find out the fax didn't go through. Well, there goes $65 down the crapper. I wasn't going to make the same mistake again, so I grabbed my documents and ran over to Kinko's (also FedEx) downtown. What a difference. Everyone was calm, reassuring and extremely knowledgeable. Not that I needed a rocket scientist to explain scanning documents, I know how. But I was in a bit of a tizzy at that moment and didn't feel like trying to figure out a mammoth scanner that looked like it could swallow me alive. The gentleman at the counter did everything for me with a smile.
Kinko's also has these rad computer stations that you can use by the minute with a credit card. This is way cool if you need to print out a document from your email and you don't have the equipment at home.
The only gripe I have is not with Kinko's itself, but with the parking situation. Bleh. With a location on E.9th right across from a Phoenix Coffee, street parking is never looking good. Get back to me in the winter time if and see how I like Kinko's when I'm walking in the cold.
