I'm actually digging this location's new indoor decor. The place looks very inviting, with tonnes! of magazines to flip through while tuning out an one-sided conversation. Their bubble tea tastes just as good or as boring as every other sit down tea place, but I love that there's Shaved Ice on their menu. So of course I had to get it, annd I looove the cool crunchy sweetness of it, except it's a teeny expensive for what their shaved ice is - which is just ice, 1.5 cups of bubble tea toppings, and sugared water. They also have savory rice bowl options, which also tastes pretty mainstream. (Salty and bland at the same time. Seriously, how can that be?). But if it works in getting you to spend more than on just a drink, why not you know?
