| - Ok, I've been here twice now, but I've experienced three barbers.
1. Bruce Lee (first time)
First, that's his real name. Second, I basically told him I like it short on the sides, longer on top, and don't go crazy. He did exactly that, and it came out perfectly. I'd trust him to repeat that performance anytime.
2. Buddy (second time)
Bruce wasn't in, so Buddy stepped up. I pretty much gave him the same instructions, but his performance yielded a much shorter result. It was shorter than I normally go, but I really like it. You might even say it's growing on me. The man definitely knows his sports, and he knows how to hold a fun conversation while cutting hair simultaneously.
3. Tim (second time)
After my new haircut, I wanted to get my first ever straight razor shave. Buddy had an appointment coming, so I was directed to shop owner, Tim, for my shave. Apparently, bringing Paul Bunyan's beard to your first straight razor shave isn't the best idea. The straight razor shave took awhile, I had some slight irritation, but I also had the closest shave of my adult life. Overall, it's an experience I'd try again.
I have to say, for only $16, I can't think of a better place for a haircut/customer service combo, as everyone takes great care of you here.
Bonus: If you're an early bird like me, they open at freaking 5AM! Amazing. Most places don't open until 10 or 11. A+
