Listen, I love eating locally, and I love eating a value meal (i.e. price and quality match up). PB on the other hand takes the safe route with everything. No seasonal menu. Food is overpriced and mediocre. Atmosphere is dim. Bartender is great, but good drinks can only carry a restaurant so far.
This restaurant is the epitome of being the only "American / French" restaurant in a prime walking neighborhood that does everything to be nothing special but lure HP neighbors because of the lack of other sitdown type of restaurants in the area (honestly, AppleWood is better if you just want a burger).
Mussels are eh. Chicken eh, etc. etc. Do something special. Serve good food at a reasonable price. Serve seasonal food that leverages local farms.
If you want to spend $25 on an entree, eat ok mussels, and have expensive good French fries, go to PB.
