  • Vida has ridiculous good food right in the heart of uptown. A group of coworkers came here for lunch it was nothing but good food and good service. Start with the guacamole. It's fresh and delicious with chunky pieces of avocado. They bring chips and salsa to the table. The salsa is also fresh with a spicy kick. No oily chips here. For my lunch, I had two tacos. You can mix and match if you want to try different items. So I ordered the shrimp with jalapeno bacon and a shredded beef taco. It also came with beans and rice. I loved both tacos. There are amazing sauces on each one. The shrimp were plump and tasty. And the combination between the sweet mango and spicy jalapeno paired well. The shredded beef taco was seasoned very well. And the avocado poblano sauce on top was spicy and creamy. The only thing I disliked was the seating. We were at a high top and there were no purse hooks or good places to put our coats. Other than that, I highly recommend this restaurant.
