The vet care is wonderful but beware of price quotes that aren't representative of the actual cost and careless vaccination of animals without checking the records or contacting the owner.
For example, took a cat in with urinary issues and was quoted between $250-$500. When I called to pay found out the price was $989.00 which was a surprise considering the Dr. contacted us with status updates during the weekend. In talking with the office manager, we were told the Dr. told me the price was at least $600. To provide some perspective, I work for a space flight agency as an engineer and I know the difference between $200-$500 and at least $600. Not to be cold but if a quote was provided of at least $600, our one week old kitty may have had a different outcome. The manager also told us the onus was on us to get a written quote and to ask for updated price during the status updates.
This was our last dealing with this establishment an the other dealing required talking to the office manager as well about needless immunizations and cost.
So overall, beware of inaccurate billing practices and unnecessary treatments or your $50 kitty will become a $1k kitty in short order.
