Sometimes ya just gotta treat your feet! I saw all the amazing reviews on Yelp and decided to see what the big deal is all about. I felt like getting some good ol' fashion pampering so I decided to get the Ice cream pedicure.
Let me start off by saying they STERILIZE their tools. Every person gets a fresh bag of sterilized tools (kind of like at the dentist office). That gets major points in my book. I've heard horror stories of people getting infections from dirty nail salons so these days I only go to places that I know are clean.
Jenny was my nail technician. I wanted to be festive so I chose pumpkin pie as my ice cream flavor. It was lovely! My feet soaked in all the aroma goodness. Jenny gently groomed feet. She then applied a scrub, dipped my feet in warm parafin wax and used plenty of aloe vera oil for massaging. Let me tell you she had an amazing touch! She asked how I liked the pressure. I told her I liked a firm massage and that was exactly what I got. Just when I thought this couldn't get any better, it did! She got warm basalt stones and incorporated them in her already phenomenal massage.
The end result of this whole relaxing experience gave me baby soft feet with perfectly painted toes. I couldn't stop touching my feet (as weird as it sounds haha). They must use some high quality products. I added my name into their system and they keep track of your visits. There's a percentage off after your 5th or 6th appointment. That just adds to the incentive of going back. I would definitely see them again.
