rev:text	Tandem is not exactly what I would call my kind of coffee house. I am not the type of person who lounges or puts a lot of thought into what is in what and where was this sourced from etc. I usually want to grab my coffee and take off. That being said, I work for a small business and host client's for coffee semi regularly. I needed a place that was close by and so originally Tandem won by default. Once I started going back more and more, I found that one thing Tandem does do is actually care about the customers' experience. What is lacks in crazy high priced Starbucks decor, it gains it all back and than some with their ability to go the extra mile to make sure the customer's expectations have been exceed. Prime example, a lot of the local businesses were complaining about the cash only policy, so they started up a tab system where you can prepay a tab and not have to worry about having cash on you at all time. Admittedly, I have only ever had coffee from Tandem, and they do make a good cup. I wish I could comment more about the other drinks or food but I cannot so you'll have to rely on the other reviews. If you're in the area, and need a quiet place to grab a coffee, tea or crazy herbal drink (and have cash in your pocket), definitely check out Tandem because Toronto needs to support small businesses that show hustle for their customers. * Note: I did have to take one star of the lack of debit/credit, they utilize an ipad based POS at Tandem and in 2015 with the apple based attachments available there isn't really an excuse not to take debit at least*
