| - So my boyfriend & I went to Postino's East yesterday & it was just as good as all the reviews state, maybe even better.
We went for dinner & had a 30 minute wait, but we just took that as time to walk around & get to know downtown Gilbert. We got our table right on time. When we were seated we were promptly given water & time to look over the menu.
Our server was AMAZING! I feel like a jerk because I don't recall his name, but he was very attentive, personable, & helpful.
My boyfriend & I both got the select two deal, half a sandwich & soup or salad. I got the Prosciutto with Brie with Mixed Greens while he got the Turkey with the soup of the moment (a red pepper tomato soup). We were both happily impressed. My sandwich was the perfect combination of sweet and salty & my salad was a great balance of bitter greens, sweet dressing, & salty cheese.
I also had the Cucumber Honey Lemonade. I just wanted to try it really bad! It was definitely interesting. Sweet from the honey, salty & sour from the lemonade..the cucumber was refreshing, but also reminded me of pickles. Still not sure how I feel about it haha.
Lastly, we had the Salted Caramel Sundae for dessert & it was just as it sounds. Yummy. Came with pretzel sticks & nuts.
Altogether we had a great experience & will definitely be going back.
