  • What seemed to be a beautiful and affordable venue for our wedding turned out to be big a waste of money and time. We booked The Estate as the venue for our wedding reception due to it's elegant looks and cheap price. We were concerned about the food as there were no pictures available on the website as well as the in-person meeting but we were assured that The Estate was "known for their food". During our tasting, not only did the food prove our concerns, it was actually worse than we expected. Everything that needed to be cooked were cooked improperly. Undercooked pasta, dry chicken, overcooked salmon, and the presentation of the plates were reminiscent of cafeteria food (ever wonder why you can't find any images of their food?). Their quality of food matches their quality of service. Prepare to wait weeks to book meetings and booking your tasting. In our last meeting, we addressed our concerns and were granted a second tasting but we had to wait for another 1-2 months for it. George said that he would finalize the date in the next few days and we agreed. Four weeks later, after hearing nothing from George we decided to call and follow up on the tasting and were told the reason he didn't get back to us was because he was on a 10-day vacation (despite there being 2 other people running the venue). He said that he'll get back to us that evening with a date. After another week of waiting, it was clear that our wedding concerns were not going to be treated seriously and with urgency so we withdrew our booking from The Estate. All in all, The Estate is either an overpriced budget hall or a mediocre wedding venue. You may fall in love with the place but not with the people.
