  • Two years ago, I had Greenstar Eco complete the back yard of my new build home. Not having been through this before, I relied too heavily on Greenstar. Not very happy with the outcome. In my opinion, I wish we had been given a choice of build levels such as new "seedlings" (which is what we ended up with), or more mature plants. We got to pick the plants, but the nursery is not one I would have chosen, and the plants were pretty anemic. We wanted artificial grass. If you have looked at this, you know there are many types of artificial turf. We were not given a choice and ended up with what I consider to be a cheap, inferior product, that truly looks and feels cheap. Greenstar refused to paint a pony wall they installed around my HVAC unit. I offered to buy the paint, but he told me I could paint it. My biggest complaint is the irrigation system. They tapped into the existing one zone that was in the front yard. So, in order to water the back yard, which has citrus, as well as regular trees, bushes and plants, the sprinklers come on as one unit. Some plants require more or less water, but I have to do that by hand. Overall, I am not very happy with the work done, and would not use them again.
