I've been having massages at Massage Envy (Mesa Gateway) every week for several months now; sometimes twice per week. No other location inclusive of this location hasn't been anything in comparison when it comes to their massages and customer service.
Today this was yet another disappointing experience.
I booked a massage at this location for the very first time and spent over half an hour to get an appointment booked over the phone as they couldn't find me on their system. After continuous wasted efforts , I advised them to call Mesa Gateway to get my information and call me back when they did. We booked a couples massage and specifically indicated that we wanted one male, one female therapist. Upon filling out our forms today, I realized that the therapists were both females. When I inquired about it, they had no one to accommodate my massage. One girl indicated that David was available as he is still on duty but then another young lady said he has left. Apparently the young lady Tried contacting him which remained futile.
So after having my husband and I sort out leaving work early to get this massage done went all to waste! How disappointing! And their fix to this was To offer me a sugar foot rub included in my massage time? I've been too loyal of a customer to massage envy to continually have small mishaps like these.
At another location they couldn't find my name on the system and by the time they did, the spot was filled and all they did was apologize!
Time to wake up Massage Envy; small issues like these should be avoided!
Definitely will never be back to this location and makes me second guess returning to any massage envy.
