| - First of all, shmear is a terrible word. I automatically think "pap s(h)mear" or "you gotta lil shmear of something on your face", Idk, it's weird for me but I'm probably alone in feeling this way so I'll move on. I feel like all Einstein Bro's are the same. They provide you with okay bagels and disappointing service. The lines are always long but even when they aren't, you're still facing at least a ten minute wait for your bagel, that's something I've just come to accept. Not only that but I don't think any of the people that work morning here are actually morning people which is pretty unfortunate. I will ONLY order bagels with shmear or butter spread from EB. I'm a member of their little shmear society email club and they always send emails for BOGO egg sandwiches and I never use them because I don't even want one of those bland egg sandwiches, let alone two. I had a coupon for a free one a while ago and ordered the French toast breakfast sandwich - why? I have no idea. I immediately took the egg off because it's barely an egg as much as it is an egg flavored plastic disk. And no ordering of drinks, ever. I ordered a pumpkin spice latté and it tasted as if they didn't finish making it, like, the first 3 steps were done and then nothing else. It tastes like nothing but empty calories, skim milk, and a splash of what had to be pumpkin. Also, once I bought a lemonade from the front fridge area and the top wasn't on correctly and it literally spilled all over me when I was getting to my car, I was sticky the entire day and didn't even get to enjoy my $4 lemonade whatsoever. I know that was an accident but sometimes accidents can be avoided and there should have been a joint effort here to prevent me taking a lemonade shower at 7 in the morning. Another time they had a buy 3 get 3 free coupon for their little shmearful bagel things which are literally just different flavored bagels (pretzel, everything, plain, etc) shaped like little balls and filled with various flavor of shmear. Every last one of them was gross (ESPECIALLY the everything and pretzel/cheddar flavored ones, my God) AND they were cold. I literally waited almost twenty minutes for them to heat the things up and they were cold. I have not been back since but if I ever was to go back, I would just order a bagel and shmear. Two stars since the actual bagels aren't that bad and bagel places in Arizona are few and far between.
