This hotel appealed to us due to the history and convenience. It is overpriced and sadly run down. The front areas are lovely and the staff is very courteous and friendly. One look at the lobby restroom, we knew we had made a big mistake. The back half of the property is in need of renovation as well as the rooms and recreation-pool area. The room had frayed carpet and roaches. We had called ahead to make sure they had a "pack and play" available for an infant and were assured they had them-what we were brought was an old wrought iron crib with wheels that looked like something out of a horror film. With the prices they charge, this "resort" should be investing in upkeep and modern amenities. The town of Chandler is lovely, the shops and restaurants are amazing. Sadly, this "resort" was a huge fail.
