| - I've been going to this same nail place for as long as I've lived in chandler. But not enough for them to remember my name, and after today i can say i will never go back. Monday afternoon, My husband and I decided to go get a pedicure. He worked later in the day and i wanted to relax with him, comfortably. Today was a casual day. I wore this very old knitted sweater. With an older dress that definitely didn't scream CASH MONEY, and my husband wore a reg ol V neck with Nike basketball shorts. Immediately as they do, she asked what we wanted. I looked at the options. I selected the Deluxe for him, and a regular standard pedicure for myself. Now. I only have so much time, we have other things to do... I want to keep it simple, my husband's birthday was Friday, and I wanted him to be pampered one last time. So this wasn't about me. She points to the one ABOVE what i pointed to. Making me then have to correct her, to the one below. Her immediate response is "Oh you want the cheap one. You like it to be cheap." I was so thrown back. Firstly, Like how rude can you be?! I'm sorry. Is it not customers choice?? Secondly, she starts hacking away at my feet!!! Each time my feet were dipped into the water I'm sitting there thinking, "this burns a lot more than usual." While she's sitting there muttering under her voice, i decided "NOT TODAY!!" Because had I been by myself, and i been my usual fly off the handle self i would have jumped down her throat. But instead i said to myself. Kill her with kindness. I smiled. I answered all of her nosey questions and she goes. "That's your boyfriend?" I answered, No. that's my husband, and we've been together 10 years. All of a sudden do we have kids?! Blah blah blah. And she's smiling all of a sudden and rubbing lotion gently. Meanwhile there's no getting back into my graces. I'm sitting there already thinking to myself "Pfft, cheap my a%$ 70 dollars is me doing you a favor for something I'd rather do myself." A customer is a customer. The service provided should be the same. And now by the way I've been treated just based off appearance i don't feel their services are worth what i paid. Not only was she rude until she learned i wasn't some child. She try's to flatter me, with a last minute " Your such a beautiful girl" like that's going to make me forget how much pain my feet are in. She then insinuates me putting my own shoes on. In all of the years i have been coming to this place for a pedicure i have never had to struggle to get my own shoe on alone. My husbands nails tech even out his shoes on! I then see I'm bleeding! As if my skin has just been ripped away, on multiple toes! It's hours later, and my feet are still in pain... The only thing different about me today, than any other day is I have on no make up and I'm not all dressed up. In fact, I'm dressed down. and i received AWFUL customer service from this nail tech. My only joy is that my husband enjoyed his. I'm bitterly upset that i tipped them anyway. -_- #Shameful
