I am super pumped about this place. Located in the hub of downtown in The 9, no matter where you are living or working downtown, it's not a far walk. And bonus, if you need to grab a quick lunch too, you can stop into Adega or any of the other nearby restaurants.
I would like to dispel any rumors or preconceived ideas about the prices here. Just because they are located in The 9, does not mean they are overpriced or bourgeois (this is the feeling I get from anyone that references the 9). They are comparable to other studios in the area, especially for the quality of class you get. And the instructors are completely down to earth and laid back. I ended chatting with them for awhile after my class-they are genuinely interested in getting to know their students.
I took the "BE Spicy" class - an energetic dance class that does not require you to have a dance background (my favorite kind!). I followed along as best I could, and it didn't matter if I messed up. You just go with the flow and get into it! This would be a great class to take with a bunch of girlfriends (and I think that guys could pick up a move or two from this as well)!
I am excited to try out the many classes offered here. I am also eager to attend one of their group events - they did a yoga in the wild event that looked awesome. Can't wait to go back!
