| - They "do not offer table service". Neither will they take your order at the bar at all (I gave up after 10 minutes of trying to get someone's attention for my second order) or get your food in under 45 minutes if they're having a busier night (I.e. cello performance). The charcuterie/cheese (combination) board came out with some prosciutto, another smoked meat and two simple kinds of rather sweaty cheddar cheese pieces, a few crackers, dried cranberries and almond shavings. We were offered no napkins, no cutlery for our pierogi, and even though it was on their busy night, I still regretted tipping in full (which you must do ahead of receiving your order unless you're keeping your tab open) because I was subsequently ignored for the rest of our visit, even though I had to go inside and stand at the bar to order beers. The meads were interesting (we tried pomegranate and grapefruit), and much different than the traditional European mead I was expecting.
Overall, in spite of the interesting location and mead, you'd do better visiting La Cave Du Vin for their baked cheese board and fresh bread, some cutlery, ambiance and service to your table.
