  • BUYER BEWARE! Vacation Pause! DO NOT GO WITH DISH!!!!!! We are selling our house out East and have a retirement home in Las Vegas. So we rotate 2 months East and 2 months in Las Vegas. What attracted us to Dish is that you could put your service on vacation pause when we are not in Las Vegas. We signed up for 2 year contract for discounted rate ($35 off of the regular package) on the 250 package. What they failed to explain is: 1. If you put your plan on vacation mode-it cancels the the $35.00 discount and you pay regular price. 2. The 2 year contract now becomes a three, four or more year contract because they don't count the months you pay for vacation pause. DO NOT GO WITH DISH!!!!!!
