I visited Dry Bar at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
Staff was very friendly and professional. Atmosphere was clean, crisp, and up beat.
This location has a full bar and serves mixed drinks (for a cost). Also, at certain times they have a live DJ.
I asked for a blow out with volume, back coming on top with volume also using a large round brush.
They have a menu of hair styles. Probably 5 or 6 to choose from. This was not one of the options. So after ongoing communication we did achieve a decent final result. However, within an hour my hair had so much static and fly always. I had so much product in my hair it felt matted.
Now, I don't blame the stylist she was so kind and did what I asked. The product not doing well in my hair wasn't her fault as this was the first time she did my hair and everyone has different types of hair.
My suggestion would be to Future clients. Pick a style from the book. I'm sure they are trained in these styles.
Would I return? Probably not if I wanted a style that is not on the menu. But if there was a style I wanted on my the menu I would definitely give it another try.
All and all a nice shop.
Dry bar is less expensive than the Violet Salon in the hotel ( a different review)
Dry bar $50 + tip; Violet Salon $75 + tip for my shoulder length hair.
