| - What restaurant is empty at noon but packed like crazy at 3 pm? A Hawaiian restaurant of course!
This is the epitome of good ole fashion Hawaiian food outside of Hawaii.
We ordered:
Fried Saimin--4 Stars
Regular Saimin-- 4 Stars
Classic Breakfast with eggs, portugese sausage, & rice- 4 Stars
SPAM Musubi
Haupia
Costs: $
Cheap, real effin cheap, especially for Vegas. On one of our trips, we ordered a drink, the breakfast, saimin, spam musubi, and Haupia and paid $14.00 total.
Service: GAZILLION STARS. Yes, it's slow when it's busy but aside from that, they are very friendly just as you would expect from a Hawaiian establishment. They are beyond homey.
Altogether, what I like about this place is that it doesn't wreak of refinement if that makes any sense. The way that it's served, you would think you're at home. Well, I should say the BF's home since they're Japanese Hawaiian =)
P.S. THIS IS NOT A FILIPINO RESTAURANT as it says on the info, it's not even close.
