Kitchen service and management alone should keep you far away from paying $32.00 for a piece of Cod a la carte. The food is good but good is not enough for this type of restaurant and menu. We ordered multiple appetizers to share along with 3 separate entrees and side dishes. We were a table of 3, ordered our drinks and only one arrived with the excuse of, "the bar is backed up." There were very few tables filled since it was early, clearly the bar was not overflowing. Our appetizers came out one by one in a timely fashion.
First to the table was one of the side dishes to our entrees, sweet potatoes. They say there for 10 minutes before an entree arrived. We of course sent them back. Then came one entree, black Cod, $32.00 a la carte. 10 minutes later the second Black Cod arrived, our third person was still sitting with nothing. We finally asked for the manager. We got a a ridiculous excuse of, "this is a tapas style restaurant your waiter should've explained that to you. I said he didn't have to we've eaten here multiple times before and since we dine all over the country and Europe we can read a menu. It is clearly separated appetizers/entrees/side dishes. In the mean time, while he is arguing his point, our two of three entrees (no side dishes) are still sitting on the table for over 20 minutes.
The ending is our server at least gave us enough respect to acknowledge that our food was poorly timed by the kitchen and they were having problems with service. This alone was the only redeeming quality of ruining my son's birthday dinner. We will NOT be back again.
