| - I've lived here for over a year. The complex recently changed to Avia266 with the new management company. New management is very concerned with renovating and updating existing apartments, but not as concerned with customer service, responding to maintenance problems, answering emails, and giving current tenants ample notice of things going on.
In June, my air conditioning unit went out on a Friday night. I called the office and left a message as it was late and the office closed. I also shot an email to management. Saturday I went to work, expecting things to be fixed when I got home. That did not happen and no one had even called or responded to say that someone would come by to look at things. Next day I walked into the office and talked to a temp who was the only person there. He wasn't even aware of the problem, but he was nice enough to call the maintenance manager right away to fix my air conditioner. It was about 114 degrees that weekend. Management never called me or emailed to apologize or explain the mishandled situation, even after I emailed again to complain about the lack of communication.
Three days ago I received a notice on my door that they would need access to my apartment for the next week, starting tomorrow, to do a washer/dryer install. I have to empty everything from both of my main closets as well as some cabinets in the kitchen and cram all my stuff somewhere else for the next 7 days while people come in and out to do demo, electrical, and paint. Less than a week notice for that.
The previous management team and their crew was wonderful and kind. Hasn't been the same.
