  • I had a great time here last year and coming back had high expectations. Maybe that's dangerous. They weren't ready for our 7:45 reservation. I remember this being an issue last year as well. I don't mind having a drink at the bar but I was already pretty hungry. Around 8 the hostess says she has a table for us, but it turns out she was bluffing. Another 5-10 minutes passed before they found us one for real. I had never seen their upstairs seating before. The view has potential, but that is where the good news ends. The noise was overwhelming. We couldn't hear the waitress, she couldn't hear us, and conversation was impossible. It was dark too, but at least the darkness wasn't painful. I'd like to evaluate the service and the food, but our poor waitress was handicapped by the noise and the lights were so dim that I never really saw my food. I expect both would have been fine under better circumstances.
