| - If I could give this place NO stars I would. We just moved here from California and I have boarded my Min Pin on and off for her entire life (7yrs). I picked up my dog today, I asked the girl at the front desk how she did while she was there (since this was her first stay). She told me Daisy did great, they had no problems with her, other than she didn't eat very well (which I know is normal for her when she boards). I got my fur baby to the car and we did our normal routine of hugs and kisses from me being away. She gave me very little attention and sat in the seat trying to lick her chest. So I tried to see what she was licking at and saw her chest. I immediately pull her harness off her and saw that her chest had been rubbed raw to the point that her skin was puffy, red, slightly bloody and irritated. I also notice a cut on the back of her neck from the harness clasp. I picked up my baby and stormed back into the office. The manager Lupe, proceeded to tell me that this was my fault because I didn't tell them when I dropped her off that I wanted them to remove the harness. I have never been to a place that leaves the harness on the dog 24/7. If this was the case I should've been informed that they will leave it on her and if I wanted it off I needed to let them know, especially since I was a new customer. Lupe then informed me that she wrote in my dogs file that in the future the harness needs to be removed. Well let me tell you something, you can throw that file away, because I will NEVER bring my dog back here, and I will do everything in my power to let people know that while dogs are in your care you neglect them to the point that they are injured. If anyone had paid any attention to my dog in the 5 days she was there they would've seen the damage to her chest. I have seen how she has interacted at other daycare/boarding facilities but never have I encountered what I did here. From photos posted on their Facebook I see photos with my dog in the background sitting in a corner not playing with other dogs. She is a very friendly, energetic dog who loves to play so that is not normal behavior for her, when we were finally on our way home she sat in the seat with her head down (as if she were in trouble) the entire ride home (30 mins). My dog was not treated the way she should've been at this location. The franchise owner Michelle Ellis should be ashamed of the way they conduct business.
