  • PROS: 1. Great Location: Located in downtown Scottsdale, about 5 minutes from Old Town. You're a cheap Uber/Lyft from all things fun. 2. Modern Apartment: The apartments are beautiful. They're extremely modern and very well-kept. You are getting what you are paying for. 3. Safe: You have to enter in a gate to get in the complex and use a fob to get in the building. 4. Common Areas: The pool is heated and the hot tub and fireplace are great. Tons of grills and places to relax outside. The indoor clubhouse is really nice too. The gym is great too. There is a big grass area in the front and great walking path for dogs, including a pet washing station near the trash. 5. Valet Trash Service: Need I say more? Life is so much easier when I can just put my trash outside my door. CONS: 1. Noisy: If you are in the A building or any apartment facing the street, it's really loud. Indian School is a super popular road so it doesn't matter what time of day or night it is, there's always cars driving. It makes it hard to ever have your window/balcony open. 2. Parking: The parking here is really bad. You get one assigned spot per apartment. Fortunately I live in a one bedroom, but my neighbors who have a 3 bedroom are always at odds. There is guest parking but its limited. By 4 PM there is usually ~2 guest spots open. Every time you have a guest they are going to have to park across the street and walk over. There are garages for purchase but those are taken most of the time because pretty much everyone needs more parking. 3. Limited Entries: There are limited entries into the building and all but one on the first floor. Bringing groceries is such a hassle. We do have elevators but each of the entries are on the corners, so you'll still have to walk with all of your stuff. It seems like not a big deal but making multiple trips is super exhausting. It can also be annoying having to go all the way to one of the limited entries just to get outside or to let a friend in the building. Going back and forth to the entry door since they don't have a fob gets really annoying. 4. Common Utility Bill: Residents pay for the electricity/water of the common areas. That means heating the pool, cooling the office, when people leave the lights on; all of that is billed and then divided and paid for by the residents equally. 5. Thin Walls: We have Bluetooth speakers in a lot of apartments, but the walls are so thin you can't use them very loud without getting a complaint.
