| - What's worse than broken equipment at the gym ? When broken equipment has been broken for about a month and guest unsuspectingly uses the broken equipment and thinks they are doing something wrong. Mark broken treadmills with a sign.
Bed, room decor, sound-proofing, bathroom amenities and complimentary breakfast are all below average. Good news is there is enormous room for improvement.
I've stayed at three different residence inn locations this week. Although the landscaping, furniture, pillows, outdoor and indoor decor are the same, this location is my least favorite.
Two days ago while here, my neighboring room occupied a sorority and fraternity party. I met one of the group outside and he was a charming young man. They are visiting from Alabama and Mississippi. This is their first time in Vegas and they were just warming up before going out. I like some rap and I remember being that age. I called the front desk to ask for a new room because I had to go to airport at exactly 5:30 am. They would not change my room because housekeeping was gone for the day and they would not be able to turn the room. Finally after my employer called them, forty-five minutes later, they agreed to change.
Today I went to the lobby for appetizers and drinks at 6 pm. I'm not too enthusiastic about bean and corn salad, broccoli, cucumber and carrots with ranch dressing, so I looked for a chamomile or peppermint tea bag. The tea section only had green tea which has caffeine. So I asked if they could check for a non-caffeinated tea. I was told " sorry, we only have whatever is there."
My tv does not receive a strong enough signal to watch HBO channel 40 or TNT channel 33. So, off to sleep.
Enough said.
