I am appalled at how long it took to see the doctor and to get an xray considering there was absolutely no one there when we arrived. We were called back right away and then sat for almost an hour before a nurse practitioner came in. I have had chronic back pain and Degenerative Disc disease for 6 yrs. I stated right away that the pain I was having was not my usual pain. The nurse practitioner did not even examine me at all but ordered an xray. We sat for another hour until someone came and got me for the xray. The technician was rude right from the start. There was no light in the changing room and they had a flashlight and that was it. Once back in the room we sat for another hour until the nurse practitioner came back in and said there was no fracture. I already knew that. All he seemed concerned with was not prescribing me any narcotics which I had already stated I did not need. I wasted money and three hours of my time to not even get an examination. I was however able to get scheduled with my pain management doctor who took great care of me. This place is a joke. Don't go here. It saddens me to say that especially since my regular doctor is there and I have been seeing him for about 15 yrs. Time to change my primary physician. What a waste. You people need to get it together and spend less time in the back chatting away. Yes, the patients can hear you. Perhaps less chatting and more concern for the patients would be a good place to start.
