I saw Denise Le yesterday for a much needed hair cut and she did not disappoint! I'm super picky with who I let cut my hair because Asian hair is different and not everyone knows how to properly cut and style it. My friend who has the complete opposite hair type as me (blonde & curly) got her hair cut by Denise first and highly recommended her to me.
The salon itself is pretty big and has a cute boutique in the front. When you sign in, you're asked if you want water or coffee which is a nice touch. They have a lot of cute jewelry, clothing, and other nick-knacks for you to browse through while you wait. There is also plenty of seating with some magazines if you would rather relax. I believe they have free WiFi but I was unable to connect to it.
Denise first brought me back to her space and asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. I'm so glad she talked me out of cutting my hair short and assured me that I could keep my length while still getting rid of all the split ends that I had. We then walked to the part of the salon where everyone was getting their hair washed or colored. She did a great job washing my hair and gave a nice head massage, perfect after a long day of work. After that, she worked her magic. She gave me the perfect amount of layers and took the time to texturize my hair. I could tell that she knew what she was doing. When it was all done, I was very impressed with my cut. The real test is when you go home and get to take a really good look at yourself. My hair has seriously never looked so good! I'm so relieved that my search is over and I now have someone that I can go to for my hair cuts. I'm sure my hair thanks me too.
PS She offers first time clients 50% off so I highly recommend trying her out.
