  • I didnt research this place as it was booked by another in our group. I never go with package deals because I see them mostly as rip off artists. This cruise tour thing cost us each 83.00. It was to include a ride to the bus, bus ride to Hoover Dam. A tour of the Dam, then a Lake Mead Riverboat ride and lunch, then a stop at some chocolate factory. So basically that is what you get. Had to walk a few blocks to the pickup point. Caught a small bus to someplace where the bigger tour buses were. Lots of waiting in line as there were lots of people for this tour. First thing I noticed was that the A/C didn't work worth a darn on the bus. Lots of complaints about that. Bus ride to the Dam. Once there we had the joy of being run through the dam like cattle. And the Dam jokes got old real quick. The time between tours is so little that they won't even take the time to answer any questions about the dam. After making the mad dash through the dam, we were picked up by the tour bus and taken to the riverboat ride for the lake view of the dam and lunch. Lunch consisted of an old dried out sandwich and bag of chips. Then, the tour was so overbooked that there was no where to sit and enjoy this yummy lunch. Lots of unhappy people on this tour. We made a leisurely ride around the lake and by the dam, then back to the dock. Back on the tour bus for a hasty ride to the chocolate factory. Once there we found that we got there so late they were only cleaning up and what looked like getting ready to close. They handed out a cheap chocolate sample. If you had wanted to buy any of the high priced chocolate, it would have melted on the bus due to no A/C. We were only there for about 10 minutes which was enough time to run through, get your sample, look around and see it was a chocolate factory, then back on the bus for what turned out to be a very scary and dangerous ride back to where we started. Bus driver did everything but cuss out everyone on the street. From jumping curbs to yelling at people. Quite the show. All in all this was a total waste of 83.00. This is why I don't buy package deals.
