I used MMM and have had better experiences with other movers. Couple of items damaged could have been prevented if packed more carefully and becuase I took base coverage I am out some dollars. Moved a spa for me and never had the right equipment to do it. MMM truck did not show up on time to have crane that was rented put spa on truck. Spa sat on public street most of day. I was assured that at delivery end they would have a dolly and plywood to put down to move spa to final location. Guys showed up without those tools. Two guys spent over an hour moving a 455 lb. spa inch by inch to final location. They busted thier butts in 115 degree heat. I did call and complain to office about pace of work at the start and they sent out another guy. They preached customer service to me and would have been nice to have some type of customer survey from them on backend but never happened, They sent me damage claim forms and filled out and sent back. I was told the repair guy would contact me and three weeks passed and never heard so followed up and today was told my info will be sent on to him again. I also gave some feedback to the MMM office on how they did not have enough guys on site and how items were being moved in a way that they might be damaged. I found out that they called the onsite crew and chewed their asses off. The guys were working hard at that point but only two guys and one guy was loading and one guy trying to carry a sofa by himself. The crew gave me the cold shoulder and at end of day told me anytime a customer complains about a crew they get their asses chewed out. I wonder what the turnover rate for employees is at MMM.
