While walking through the Aria Casino on a late Saturday night, we happen to hear the classic anthem from Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock "It Takes Two" from the Alibi Ultra Bar. We stepped inside and glanced at the dark cozy interior filled with guests enjoying the music mixes and flowing cocktails.
The seating consisted of high tables and stools along with coffee table and seats and a walk up bar. Unfortunately, majority of the seats were taken, and we were stuck sharing an ottoman with other patrons. Our very sweet waitress, Rose, approached and asked us for a drink order but we weren't ready and debated if we should stay. A few minutes later, Rose retrieved us to an open spot on the high tables where we stayed for the rest of the evening.
After a quick glance at their Alibi signature menu, I quickly chose the "Blackberry Bliss" $19 (Ketel One Vodka, Blackberry Shreds. Lime, Mint and Ginger Beer) and Wild Turkey Bourbon on the rocks $18. Both were served down with very generous pours. I especially loved my cocktail as it had a combination of all my favorite flavors.
The vibe was young and alive with one of the very best music mixes. The volume was tolerable, and conversations were manageable. Many people were dancing by their tables showing off their money moves.
Be aware smoking is still allowed inside of the bar if you're sensitive to the smell.
Our waitress checked in with us often and we never felt rushed or neglected. Rose deserves 5 stars! They definitely work the hustle because they're open until 5AM.
With or without an "alibi" be sure to check this bar out. It takes two to make a thing go right!
