  • When I'm working on the east side, this is my go-to coffee shop. They have outstanding brewed coffee, and they've got their espresso game down pat. Phoenix is on par with the best coffee shops in CLE, but is a bit more approachable then the rest. Put another way, the staff won't shoot you daggers if you put cream in your coffee (but you shouldn't. That's just wrong, says the coffee snob). Oh and those cookies, too. When I'm having a rough morning, I'll try to eat my stress in the form of a chocolate chip cookie. I mean, if you're gonna make a bad life decision, it might as well be delicious, right?
