  • I met some friends at Zen 32 for dinner last night. I was impressed with the sushi, both the quality and the vartiety and the atmosphere and drinks were nice as well. They let us design custom sushi rolls to suit our creative palates, which was a lot of fun. The one issue we had was with the waitress who kindly divided out table of 8 into 3 separate tabs, the most expensive of which was $160. She returned to the table with all 3 credit cards after runnng $160 on each of them--when many of the others were $50 or so. She took one of the credit cards back, voided the $160 charge, then REcharged $160 to it and presented the reciept for signature as if all was resolved! As imagined, we were tired of waiting and all concerned that out cards had excessive charges that always require a timely dispute in the upcoming days. So, we had a nice dinner, but all left concerned about our CC balance! Next time we will pay with cash, i suppose! Overall a great restaurant with a ditzy waitress (oh, and a fab patio!)
