| - I liked Telus Spark. More importantly, kiddo loved it - was really hard to pull him away, and we made it there for him in the first place.
There are tons of things to explore about crazy creations of human mind, and Spark offers a good opportunity to do that. Interactive exhibits are well built and thought through. Relevant to our province and modern world in general. Place is big enough to handle a lot of children and grown-ups, things are reasonably well organized.
5$ parking fee seemed to be a nuisance though, and staff was not particularly helpful - but they were around, and seemed that their effort was actually holding the pieces of Spark together. Which is important.
I obviously disliked the exhibition of human bodies mummified in plastic - tasteless sign of our soul-sick times. Somewhere on par with ISIS destruction of human past and future, and "show" of spilling animal guts in front of the children in Dutch zoo. Would rather see Spark' owners being less trendy, but oh well.
Other than that, though, I think Spark is a good place to visit, and a useful facility. Definitely worth coming again and again while the kid grows and better understands more complex things.
