We stopped in here the other night on the combination of a whim and the mention of their wine list from a friend who is in the restaurant business. We've been here before but it's literally been many years. Now we wonder why we didn't put Veneto on our restaurant rotation. It is now! We started with the Insalata d'arugula e radicchio and the Carpaccio Affumicato. The salad had almonds and great parmesan and we were taken with the smokey flavor of the beef. The atmosphere called for pasta so we each picked one. Peg had the Fettuccine with duck ragout and I had the Veal and Mushroom Ravioli. We shared of course and both of us loved both of them. We splurged on dessert on our server's recommendation and the Semifreddo al Pistacchio was the perfect ending to a delightful romantic meal. The service was just impeccable. We loved every single minute and every single bite. We can't wait to repeat the experience.
