  • This is a wonderful neighborhood bar in the land of re-development on the East Washington corridor. Having visited for brunch, dinner, and Wisconsin sporting events I can say it's an all-around great place for any occasion. Their website offers the notion that this is a place "where you are only a stranger once" and it's completely genuine. Staff hasn't changed much in the few years I've been a guest here, and it is a welcoming environment where staff takes good care of their patrons. My favorites about BSG are their 50cent wings on Monday nights, the brunch offerings in general, their fire-breathing bartenders, and the true Wisconsin atmosphere especially during Packers games when free shots are distributed when the Pack scores. The only downfall is finding seating during popular sports events, otherwise it's an all around fantastic option!
