| - This is for their chestnut tart only.
As a Mont Blanc fans, I have had many Mont Blanc so far, and I believe I could give my two cents on the "chestnut tart" here....
I went in and bought two of the chestnut dessert, one is called something Switzerland... I am not sure if the owner is not aware in general the dessert is called "Mont Blanc"?
Anyway, the chestnut cream on top looks like it has chestnut taste, but it only has the color but not the taste. The bakery probably mixed too much cream with the chestnut cream. It's the first time I had such a bad quality chestnut cream mixture. The tart is ok, kinda like egg tart.
The other "Switzerland" dessert had a few layers of Choux pastry, layered with the chestnut cream. The choux was a bit soggy and not crispy at all. The cream is same as the tart, very very bland taste with a lot of cream.
I also bought some bread, they look like normal Hong Kong style bakery so they should taste ok.
If I ever go back, I would never buy any of their desserts. It's a waste of my money.
Oh yeah, the cashier never gives out the receipt. Why? Want to keep it as cash business and not report all revenue to Revenue Canada?
