| - This is the last time we will ever be staying at the JW Mariott. We reserved a number of rooms for a family gathering, all single King rooms. Upon check-in we were told they were two rooms short as they had ("overbooked the hotel by over 30%"). Despite having booked these rooms months in advance, we had to wait hours until they were finally able to arrange for two more rooms for our party. In addition, every room they gave us was double beds instead of Kings, and though the manager on call (Jim) said he would call us the next day to try and fix the room situation, he never did. To make it even worse, the only amenity open late here is the jacuzzi, and it was out of order the entire stay, with staff saying it "might be fixed in a week". For the price, inconvenience of being 20 minutes cab ride from the strip, rooms that desperately need to be refurnished, amenities that aren't open, and a staff that doesn't work to fix grievous reservation errors - or even comp us anything for those errors- I can definitely say this is not a place you want to stay at next time you visit Las Vegas. There are so many good options in this town, this just isn't one of them.
